About Us

If you’re looking for the perfect escape in a quiet setting, then you’ve come to the right place. We know that because we’re living it here at Rockhill.

Rockhill B&B is owned and operated by Greg and Arlette Rodgers. We are a husband and wife duo and we truly feel like we’re living the dream.

We purchased Rockhill in 2017 after years of traveling and experiencing bed and breakfasts, standard hotels and luxurious resorts. We realized that, for us, the places in which we most truly enjoyed our travels was where connection happened. Regardless of the place we stayed, we enjoyed our experience far more if connections were made – whether it was with the hosts, the guests or the locals around us, that’s where the value truly lies for us. As a result, that’s what we made here at Rockhill.

Our mission is to provide our guests with a quality experience infused with the comforts of home including comfortable bedding, home-cooked breakfasts, and warm company. Essentially, we want you to slow down your everyday cadence and unwind here at Rockhill.

The Rockhill Effect

We feel so lucky that we get to welcome guests into our home from around the world. Coming from Ottawa, Toronto, Ireland, The U.S., France, and more, we’ve had guests stay with us for a range of reasons; from corporate stays to motorcycle trips to a much-needed weekend away from the everyday.

We are consistently told by guests just how refreshed they feel after staying at our Bed and Breakfast. We call it, the Rockhill Effect.

When you stay at Rockhill, we want you to :

  • Feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the doors
  • Start your day on the right foot with a delicious, homemade breakfast
  • Relax on the front patio in our Muskoka chairs overlooking Sharbot Lake
  • Get a good night’s sleep in our cozy bedding
  • Feel rejuvenated when you leave

What’s our Story?

There’s one thing we love doing the most with family and friends: that’s sitting around the dining room table and enjoying a big meal together as we connect over good food and meaningful conversation.

It’s a concept that remains a strong value for us today. We’ve taken that passion for connecting with others, and brought it into the Rockhill B&B.

Greg – who still works in ministry – has served as a clergyman for over 3 decades. His passion for helping and serving others translates into loyal customer service and experience at Rockhill.

Arlette, who worked in the hospitality industry for 14 years, has two goals in mind for your stay: that you have a meticulous room and your breakfast will be delicious, hot and sit-back-in-your-chair satisfying.

When we’re not welcoming guests, cooking up breakfast or taking our dog for a walk, we love to travel abroad and soak in new experiences ourselves.
